Rebecca Ajibola BSN. MPH
Founder and CEO of Humanity & Health Foundation (HHF Global)
A compassionate public health professional, mother, and grandmother with excellent mentoring and leadership skills. She acquired her initial education as a teacher in Nigeria in the 80s. Later had a bachelor’s degree in mental health nursing in the United Kingdom, where she practiced for many years, and eventually migrated to the United States, where she acquired a master’s degree in Public Health. Currently works as a public health professional with the State of Georgia, USA.
With over thirty years of experience in the healthcare industry, she births the Humanity and Health Foundation (HHF) vision and has since used her many skills to be a Global Change Maker.
Humanity & Health Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to make a difference in the lives of the poor and underprivileged people in Africa and beyond. My interest in Public Health stems from my experience as a Mental Health practitioner; confronted with the “Revolving Door Syndrome” of illness.
As a humanitarian, I firmly believe in Social Justice, defined as “promoting a just society by challenging injustice and valuing diversity.” It exists when “all people share a common humanity and therefore have a right to equitable treatment, support for their human rights, and a fair allocation of community resources.
HHF will remain an organization with a vision to stand the test of time through a holistic principle and model of partnership. It will advocate for Health literacy, education, and innovative ventures, to empower citizens with the ultimate goal of being valuable and productive members of their community and an ability to make the right informed decisions for their lives.
