Whistleblower Policy

Humanity and Health Foundation (HHF) is committed to ethical conduct, accountability, and transparency.
This policy provides a safe process for reporting concerns in good faith.

Purpose

To encourage the reporting of suspected misconduct and to protect individuals who report concerns
from retaliation.

Scope

Applies to HHF board members, staff, volunteers, contractors, and partners acting on behalf of HHF.

Reportable Concerns

  • Fraud, theft, or misuse of HHF funds or resources
  • Violations of law, regulations, or HHF policies
  • Conflicts of interest not properly disclosed
  • Harassment, discrimination, or safeguarding concerns
  • Serious ethical misconduct or abuse of authority
  • Retaliation against an individual who raised a concern

Non-Retaliation

HHF prohibits retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, reports a concern or participates in an
investigation. Retaliation itself is treated as a serious policy violation.

How to Report

Concerns may be reported using HHF’s reporting channel or via email. Reports may be submitted with as much
detail as possible (what happened, when, where, who was involved, and any supporting information).

HHF will review reports promptly and handle information sensitively. Investigations are conducted as appropriate,
and outcomes may be shared in a limited manner consistent with confidentiality and legal requirements.
